Cookie and browser storage policy

Last reviewed: 13 September 2026

This page explains the browser storage and optional analytics used by the WorkOrderPro website. Cookies and local browser storage are different mechanisms, but both can retain information between page visits. The application portal also uses storage necessary for account access and its operational features.

Necessary storage

Necessary storage supports functions such as remembering your privacy choice and operating authenticated services. The website stores its analytics preference under cookie-consent and the date of a saved choice under cookie-consent-date in local storage. These preference records let the site apply your choice on later visits.

Authenticated application services can also require session and security information. Those functions are separate from optional website analytics. Clearing browser data may remove preferences or require you to sign in again; the effects depend on which site data you remove.

Website analytics and your choice

This deployment uses consent-controlled optional analytics. Collection starts only after the saved analytics preference permits it. Where Google Analytics is configured, it is also subject to that choice. You can change the preference below.

A first-party route alone does not establish the privacy properties of an integration. The website only removes its consent banner when its explicitly configured cookieless deployment mode is enabled.

What MetricFold receives

Permitted observations include page views, bounded interaction labels, downloads and performance or error signals. The integration filters free-form information, form values and private identifiers from event metadata. Each request has a fresh event identifier for duplicate handling; it is not a saved browser identity. Collection requests omit browser cookies and credentials.

MetricFold processes these observations as an analytics provider. Network information, including the request IP address and browser User-Agent, is used by the collection service for request validation and traffic classification. Routing through our domain does not mean that no provider processes information. The application portal has separate account, security and analytics controls.

Changing or withdrawing your preference

Use the control below to change optional analytics for this browser. A saved change is communicated to the website analytics integrations so they can apply the updated preference. Turning analytics off stops subsequent collection; it does not automatically erase information already processed or remove every previously stored third-party cookie.

You can also use your browser settings to inspect or clear site data and control cookies. After clearing site data, review the current default and save your preference again. Preferences are browser-specific, so another browser or device may have a different saved choice.
